To use: dab or lightly roll on skin in desired area[s]. Do not rub perfume; this causes essential oils to break down. Since this recipe has an oil base, it will stay moist longer than alcohol-based perfumes, but the essential oils will also be noticeable for longer.

Spot test to check for irritation and photosensitivity. Keep perfume out of sunlight and excessive heat.

Areas of application:
Avoid sensitive skin and areas, as well as mucus membranes. I've had particular benefits from applying this mixture to the philtrum (area between nose and upper lip); just a tiny dab puts this mixture right in line with your nose. It is helpful when doing breathing and/or mindfulness exercises, where extra sensory stimulation can help interrupt harmful thoughts or brain activity, and assist you in calming and relaxing.
The pulse points on your body (where your heart rate can be felt) are the best spots to apply a scent, but for this perfume, it is probably best to choose one or two spots close to your nose: behind ears, base of throat (not the lymph nodes on your neck!), inner wrists, or inner elbows.

Important: Certain essential oils in this recipe are photosensitive, meaning that they react to light, or radiant energy such as natural sunlight, sunlamps, tanning beds, or other sources of UV rays.
When using this mixture:
* be mindful of future activities where exposure and length of exposure may be high
 *do not use a tanning bed*
* cover areas where you use this perfume  and/or wait a minimum of six hours before exposing skin to UV rays.
