Magnesite is magnesium carbonate and is naturally a whiteish color with brown or cream matrix (lines running through it). Some vendors have labeled magnesite as white buffalo turquoise or chalk turquoise, but magnesite isn't related to turquoise at all – it doesn't contain copper.
Turquoise represents wisdom, tranquility, protection, good fortune, and hope.

For copper wrapped jewelry: Copper needs to be cared for like other metals. Wait to put any copper jewelry on until perfumes, lotions showers until skin is dry. Do not sleep in jewelry store in a box or a bag.
For Sterling Silver It is better to wash your silver by hand in hot, sudsy water as soon as possible after use. Rinse well in clear hot water and hand-dry immediately and thoroughly. For silver that is tarnished, clean with a good quality silver polish and avoid "dip" polishes.
